Can You Feel My Heart

About this song

"Can You Feel My Heart" is the opening track and third single (fourth in the US) from Bring Me The Horizon's fourth studio album Sempiternal. Fish created its looped vocal pattern when Oliver Sykes couldn't find lyrics that fit the chorus, and the loop became a significant part of the song's structure. The song became a viral hit on TikTok in early 2021 after Jeris Johnson remixed it, and it later became popular in internet memes.

What it's about

Sykes describes the song as admitting you have a problem and admitting something is wrong, which he calls the first step of the whole album. The song leads with his depression.
