Havana

About this song

Havana was released as a Summer Double Feature alongside OMG from Camila Cabello's debut album, and it became the album's lead single after Crying in the Club was left off the record. Camila has said that Havana was the hardest song to write on the album, and that it was reworked many times, including a rewritten pre-chorus. The track reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Young Thug's first #1 hit and Cabello's first solo #1 as a lead artist.

What it's about

The song tells of Camila falling in love with a bad boy from Havana, and it also serves as an ode to her hometown.
