About this song
Originally titled "Nicotine", the song was released as a single alongside "Real Friends" in December 2017. Camila Cabello teased an unofficial music video on Twitter at the end of December 2017, and in February 2018 she named her first solo tour after the song. She has called it the best track she has written so far, saying it took only an hour to write.
What it's about
The song was inspired by a past relationship. Camila Cabello has described it as the prequel to her later track "Consequences", which deals with the aftermath of a love that was hard to get out of her mind.
