About this song
The song is the first track from the Kauai EP side of Childish Gambino's STN MTN/Kauai project. Its music video was released on January 9, 2015, after a countdown on a page that Gambino had tweeted a link to.
What it's about
The video is described as a possible analogy to Michael Jackson's "Thriller", with the artist resembling a zombie in the first verse and dancing through the rest of the song. The song's theme is presented through that comparison, with the artist not sober where Jackson was "dead".
