MAD I GOT IT | MAD 1 GOT 1T

About this song

The song is the seventh track on Denzel Curry's album TA13OO and the third in its second act, Gray. It is more moody and melodic than the tracks before it in that section, and it marks the album's shift from light to dark.

What it's about

Across the track, Denzel raps about how his fame and success have bred jealousy among friends and others, damaging relationships in his life. It continues the theme of the previous track, Switch It Up, which dealt with fake friends turning against him.
