About this song

"Gospel" was released through the DLC for GTA V's "Grand Theft Auto: The Contract" update in December 2021. It came a year after Dr. Dre and Eminem's previous release together.

What it's about

The song is seen as a sign of Dr. Dre beginning a comeback, since he had not released a project of his own since Compton in 2015. Eminem uses it to defend his place at the top of rap.
