About this song
Glaive first teased the song in a tweet on December 14, 2022, sharing a draft of the lyrics, and the next day said he had changed them to be more true to his own life. The song was first previewed through a 15-second clip that leaked from an unofficial source months later, then officially previewed on his TikTok in late June. Two days before release, he confirmed on Instagram that it would be the final single from the album.
What it's about
The song tells a fictional story, based on a friend, about a cheating situation in which a girl is torn between her boyfriend and a new love interest. The narrator, who helped the cheater, feels guilty as an accomplice, and the story closes with the cheater realizing she was never really his.
