About this song
Benny Blanco helped Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran write the song, which premiered on Beats 1 Radio alongside Bieber's collaboration with Halsey, "The Feeling." The official music video, directed by Parris Goebel, was released in November 2015 and stars dancers Keone and Mari Madrid. The song was nominated for two Grammy Awards: Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
What it's about
The song is a parting message to a former lover, mixing bitterness with care. It is not as uptempo as Bieber's recent singles but keeps a catchy pop core.
