Obsessed

About this song

"Obsessed" was the lead single from Mariah Carey's twelfth studio album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, released on June 16, 2009. It came shortly after Eminem took several shots at the singer, and her ex-husband Nick Cannon, on the track "Bagpipes from Baghad" from his album Relapse. Over a decade later, the song saw renewed interest thanks to a viral TikTok meme featuring a 13-year-old dancing to it while sobbing, and Carey joined the challenge herself.
