About this song
"Sugar" is the third single from Maroon 5's 2014 album V. It was originally written for Mike Posner's album Pages, but when that record was shelved, Posner gave the song to the band, and Adam Levine added his own touches to the lyrics and melody. The music video, directed by David Dobkin, shows the band crashing weddings and performing the song for guests.
