About this song
The song is presented as a reflection on NF's childhood, and it reveals parts of himself he has not previously discussed in his music.
What it's about
NF looks back on the days when he was truly happy and free from the high expectations and harsh criticism of others. He also asks when and how that happiness turned into the darker feelings heard in songs like "How Could You Leave Us" and "Let You Down."
