About this song
Following "NO NAME", "WHY" is the second single NF released in 2018. It was teased on Twitter the day of release with two tweets, which NF promptly deleted. The music video, released with the track, hit No. 1 on YouTube's Trending page and was shot in a run-down building with spray paint on the walls. The song was later announced as the first single from NF's fourth studio album, The Search.
What it's about
The song finds NF talking about the recent success of his hit single "Let You Down", his feelings of being an outcast, and his aggression, while wrestling with inner conflict.
