About this song
"Motley Crew" was teased on June 30, 2021, and is expected to be the first single from Post Malone's fourth studio album, twelve carat toothache. It is his second solo release of 2021, following "Only Wanna Be With You" in February. The music video, from Lyrical Lemonade, features a group of musicians including French Montana and Tommy Lee.
What it's about
The song focuses on Post Malone's partying and luxurious lifestyle with his mixed group of friends, which gives the title its meaning. Stylistically it returns to his earlier rap-leaning sound, with a spooky, bass-heavy backdrop.
