I Know What You Did Last Summer

About this song

The song is the first single from Shawn Mendes' Handwritten Revisited, a reissue of his debut album Handwritten, released in November 2015. It was written by Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello and Ido Zmishlany backstage at a Taylor Swift 1989 Tour concert, and it credits Bill Withers as a lyricist for sampling his 1971 B-side "Ain't No Sunshine". The track is Camila Cabello's first solo venture outside of Fifth Harmony.

What it's about

Camila Cabello describes the song as a conversation between two people in a relationship that is dying, though neither wants to admit it.
