About this song
"Señorita" is the second collaboration between Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, following their earlier song "I Know What You Did Last Summer" from November 2015. The pair first hinted at working together in a December 2018 Instagram post made backstage at iHeartRadio JingleBall. Camila said Shawn came up with the idea for the song at the end of 2018, and it took some time before they could work on it.
