About this song
The song served as a promotional single for SZA's sophomore album, SOS. She teased it by posting a 30-second snippet four days before the album came out, and a music video arrived the same day as the album on December 9, 2022.
What it's about
The song is a break-up ballad that reflects on the final moments of SZA's relationship with her ex-fiancé, who she felt was the only person who truly understood her. It captures melancholy, nostalgia and reluctance to let go of the past.
