About this song
"Let It Happen" is the opening track of Tame Impala's third record, Currents. It was the first song revealed from the album, although the first official single was "'Cause I'm a Man." The track combines the band's psychedelic rock sound with an extended electronic breakdown.
What it's about
The song introduces the album's theme of letting go and allowing nature to take its course. The album takes its title from the currents Parker mentions, which he describes as unstoppable forces that lead to personal transformation.
