About this song
Curfew was Token's first release of 2020. It was first teased on March 11, 2020, with a photo from a video shoot, and a freestyle video on March 26 ended with a message saying the song would arrive the following week. It was released on April 1 alongside its music video, which includes an extended chorus after the second verse and an outro that is not on the audio version.
What it's about
The song reflects Token's nostalgia for the teen years he missed while pursuing his rap career. It also touches on his involvement with younger girls, which leads him to try to get a sense of a normal teenage childhood.
