Girl Like You

About this song

The beat and chorus are meant to mirror the story of a boy in an 80s movie. The song is presented as a reflection on how fame has changed Chaz's life.

What it's about

The song touches on how technology is used just for hooking up, leaving people worn out and looking inward. It also tells of how the small details of a summer romance can stay with someone forever, and urges listeners to value whatever love is available now instead of chasing something grand.
