About this song
The song is named after the Colossus roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California. Tyler, The Creator has said it is based on a true story. An earlier, original version was performed live at the Odd Future carnival.
What it's about
The song is Tyler's take on dealing with a crazed fan. It is his version of Eminem's "Stan" in that sense, though Tyler has pushed back on comparisons to that classic.
