USHER, Lil Jon, Ludacris
"Yeah!" was released as the lead single from Usher's fourth album, Confessions. Usher worked with fellow Atlanta artists Ludacris and Lil Jon, and the synthesized beat is a remix of Lil Jon's beat for Petey Pablo's "Freek-A-Leek." The song reached number one on several pop charts, including the Billboard Hot 100, where it stayed on top for 12 consecutive weeks, and it was the year's top song on Billboard's year-end chart. It earned Diamond status in the US and a Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration, and TIME ranked it first on its Best Songs of 2004 list.
