About this song
The song was teased by Billie Eilish on Instagram, Twitter and YouTube on January 28, 2019, and she announced the title of her debut album the following day. It features a Prismizer effect that creates a choral phase, similar to her other January release, "WHEN I WAS OLDER." Her friend Mehki Raine makes a few short appearances on the track.
What it's about
The song is written from the perspective of a monster under Billie's bed. It details a confusing relationship with this entity and ambiguously casts her as the monster herself.
