About this song
"BLEACH" was first heard in Billy Star, a short film the band released on December 12, 2017. It was officially released three days later on SATURATION III as the seventh track. The song features Ryan Beatty, and it is his second BROCKHAMPTON track after "QUEER" from SATURATION II. At the time, it was the only song to feature all seven performers.
What it's about
Each member's verse seems to deal with an internal or personal struggle. Bleach serves as a metaphor for wanting to wipe away those issues, much like a stain remover can restore a ruined white cloth.
