About this song
Busta Rhymes explained the thinking behind this track in Complex Magazine's internet series Magnum Opus. He said Bad Boy CEO Puffy advised him to relax and stop yelling on every song, and that people found his natural lower speaking voice appealing, so he rapped in that style here, the first time he had used this type of flow. He also said the frequent "Yo" in the first verse came from a way of speaking he saw as cool among Haitian or Jamaican people in Brooklyn.
