Super Rich Kids

About this song

Frank Ocean said he drew inspiration for the track from the movie Traffic by Steven Soderbergh, as he confirmed in an interview with GQ magazine. The song plays over the end credits of Sofia Coppola's film The Bling Ring, reportedly at the suggestion of Coppola's friend Kanye West.

What it's about

The song explores how a life full of material wealth can never fill the place of love and happiness. In the final verse, the character Frank embodies falls or jumps from the roof where he started his day.
