About this song

The track is glaive's first two-part song and was followed as the second single for the album i care so much that i dont care at all. Both it and the single "minnesota is a place that exists" were cut from the tracklist after the album's second version, which was recorded in December 2022 and January 2023.

What it's about

The song is a love letter to glaive's first girlfriend, Katye Sanchez. It looks back on their breakup, which he caused because of her family's issues, and the toxic aftermath as they tried to reconcile, with the second part expressing his hurt and hatred toward her.
