Momentary Bliss

About this song

"Momentary Bliss" is the first of a series of episodic singles Gorillaz released as part of the Song Machine project. It blends psychedelic synth-pop, punk and hip-hop, mixing synths and drum machines with traditional rock instruments. It is the final track on the standard release of Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez, even though it was the first single released for the project. The song features punk duo Slaves and UK rapper slowthai, marking the first collaboration between the three, and Slaves had previously worked with slowthai on his track "Missing."
