Forever

About this song

"Forever" is the sixth track on Lewis Capaldi's album Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent. It is another love song on the album, a slow, sentimental ballad built mainly on piano with a mellow bass.

What it's about

The song expresses that everything is temporary, including relationships and life itself. It suggests that forever is an abstract idea people cannot fully grasp, even though a meaningful, mutual connection is still hoped for.
