Apologize

About this song

"Apologize" is the debut single of OneRepublic. The original version appeared on their debut album Dreaming Out Loud (2007), but the band and the track gained wide attention only after Timbaland remixed it and released it with OneRepublic as featured artist on his compilation album Shock Value. Timbaland's remix became a massive national and global hit and set the record for the biggest radio airplay hit in the history of the Mainstream Top 40 chart in North America, until Leona Lewis's "Bleeding Love" broke it. It stayed the band's most successful single until "Counting Stars" in 2013, and the RIAA certified it 3x Multi-Platinum in May 2008.
