About this song
The song was a stand-out from Radiohead's live set while they toured with R.E.M. The record label chose not to release it as a single because the recorded version was not as well liked as the live version.
What it's about
The song is one of Radiohead's more straightforwardly political tracks, reflecting the unrest against neoliberal policies that spread around the world in the late 1990s.
