LOGOUT

About this song

LOGOUT is a single from Saba's second album, CARE FOR ME, and features fellow Chicago rapper Chance The Rapper. The two had worked together before, on Chance's songs "Angels" and "Everybody's Something" from the mixtapes Coloring Book and Acid Rap.

What it's about

The song explores feelings of insecurity and dependence on social media, and the dark side of the internet that becomes clear after stepping away from it, including its addictive pull and the drained, lifeless feeling it leaves behind. Saba also reflects on how posting online reminds him how dull the world outside feels.
