About this song
"Tear in My Heart" is the second single from twenty one pilots' fourth studio album, Blurryface. It is the only song on the album that does not feature Blurryface, the character who represents the protagonist's fears and anxieties.
What it's about
The song was inspired by Tyler Joseph's wife, Jenna Black, and details the importance of their relationship. Its absence of Blurryface may suggest that Jenna shields him from that character.
