About this song
Finesse is the eighth track on Bruno Mars' album 24K Magic. Mars worked on it in the studio, reworking earlier versions and focusing on getting the groove to bounce. Its opening drum pattern was directly inspired by the intro to Bell Biv Devoe's 1990 song Poison. A remix featuring Cardi B was released on January 4, 2018.
