My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)

About this song

The song is the first single from Fall Out Boy's fifth album, Save Rock and Roll. A demo with the same title was posted on the band's website in 2003, but Pete confirmed the two versions are otherwise unrelated.

What it's about

The song is about the band's return to music after a four-year break, and starting over with a clean slate, though a burned one.
