Can’t Make U Change

What it's about

The song is a lament about how hard it is to change yourself or someone else, especially when a person is set in their ways. Ari Lennox sings of her desperation to keep someone in her life and her willingness to change for them, while JID reflects on his own stubbornness and his wish to be a better man.
