About this song
The song was released on May 19, 2022, as the lead single from the album. Lupe Fiasco explicitly referenced the Transformers character Jazz on Twitter during its release.
What it's about
The title draws on Transformers and the Autobots, and the song examines Lupe's flashier side as a rapper, which he has presented as an alter ego, Carrera Lu. Transformers' idea of one figure containing two characters echoes that split.
