About this song
Ain't It Fun became the biggest hit in Paramore's history in 2014, peaking at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is the first Paramore song to feature a gospel choir, and it came together during a period when the band was struggling to make music for the new record. Taylor began working on it while trying to sound like the Dutch Uncles, a band he had been listening to, and he never expected it to become a Paramore song.
What it's about
Hayley has said the song is a message to anyone who sometimes forgets they aren't the center of the universe, herself included.
