Jigsaw Falling Into Place

About this song

Thom Yorke has said the song draws on the messy nights out the band remember from their university days, and he has said it was partly inspired by his years living in the centre of Oxford. The song was first played live in 2006 under the name "Open Pick", appeared on the album In Rainbows in 2007, and was released as a single in early 2008, reaching number 30 in the UK singles chart.

What it's about

The song follows a night out through a club, from flirtation and a stranger catching the eye to a relationship that falls apart, with lyrics about drinking to forget and a darker side beneath the elation.
