About this song

Originally written and recorded during the OK Computer era, the song was often played live and became a favorite among hardcore fans. It had the working title "Failure to Receive Repayment Will Put Your House at Risk" and was widely known as "Big Ideas (Don't Get Any)" before being renamed. The band kept returning to it over the following decade without being satisfied, and it was finally released on In Rainbows in 2007 with a different arrangement, becoming the second single from that album the next year. Producer Nigel Godrich credited a new bassline by Colin Greenwood with restructuring the song and giving it more rhythmic flow.
