About this song
"Reckoner" was an early working title for what became the album In Rainbows, and the album takes its title from a lyric in the song. An earlier, very different song called "Reckoner" was played live in 2001 and later released as "Feeling Pulled Apart by Horses". Guitarist Jonny Greenwood said in a 2008 Mojo interview that the band felt they first captured something special on tape when they recorded it.
What it's about
The song has a theme similar to the band's song "Present Tense".
