About this song
"Diamonds" was released as the lead single from Rihanna's seventh studio album, Unapologetic, and became her twelfth number-one in the US. Sia wrote the song after producer Benny Blanco made a hip-hop-style track that Sia heard and immediately liked, and Blanco says the pair had not planned to put a pop song on it. The song re-entered the Hot 100 at number 44 during the tracking week ending February 25, 2023.
