About this song
The song is the softer side of Weezer's Green Album, a move away from heavier guitars. The AV Club called it sweet and innocently hopeful in a review of underrated Weezer songs, and Rolling Stone ranked it the 46th best summer song of all time in 2013. It was featured in a 2006 episode of The Simpsons, "The Wettest Stories Ever Told", and in the 2006 film Aquamarine. It was one of the last songs bassist Mikey Welsh worked on before he left the band.
What it's about
The song is laid-back and daydreams about running away with someone special to a sunny island.
