About this song
The song was planned as a character in Weezer's abandoned rock opera, Songs From The Black Hole. Jonas was meant to be the protagonist of that project. He is often assumed to be a stand-in for Rivers Cuomo.
What it's about
The song is about Rivers Cuomo's brother, Leaves, and a car accident he was involved in. It explores childhood, nostalgia and brotherhood.
