Lauder Too

About this song

The song is a follow-up to JID's earlier track "Lauder" and continues the story from that song. It features Ravyn Lenae and Eryn Allen Kane and shares many parallels with its predecessor in both content and ideas.

What it's about

JID reflects on the inner struggles that come with the fame he has finally reached, wondering whether success is enough when the industry keeps demanding more. He also questions whether listeners truly hear the meaning in his rhymes or simply treat them as entertainment.
