FEEL.

About this song

The song is Kendrick Lamar's track that catalogs the wide range of feelings, particularly negative ones, that his stardom has brought on. Kendrick routinely explores the darker sides of his life in his music, and depression and self-hate are subjects he has discussed before.

What it's about

Kendrick says he feels like nobody is looking out for him while also wanting to isolate himself from friends and family. He boasts about his status in music but notes that the industry he dominates is full of toxicity, and he keeps grappling with emotional, interpersonal, and spiritual problems despite his success.
