Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough

About this song

Michael Jackson contacted the musical director of The Wiz, the 1978 film in which he starred as the scarecrow, to discuss a possible solo album. The song was chosen from hundreds of demos to appear on Off the Wall. It drew criticism for lyrics that some listeners considered sexually suggestive, and it won Jackson his first Grammy Award, for Best R&B Vocal Performance, Male. It was also his first number one since "Ben" in 1972.

What it's about

Jackson said the song is often misinterpreted and is really about never giving up on your dream, whatever that dream may be.
