About this song
P.Y.T. is the sixth consecutive top 10 single from Michael Jackson's album Thriller, and it had varying levels of success overseas. Producer Quincy Jones liked the song's title from Jackson's demo but not the song itself, so he enlisted James Ingram to write the version that was released.
