About this song
The title refers to the soap opera As the World Turns, and the track follows a skit on the album called "Soap" that sets up the reference. The song is possibly inspired by N.W.A's "Fat Girl."
What it's about
Eminem performs entirely as Slim Shady, the dark and impulsive side of his personality. By the end of the first verse that side takes over completely, and he goes on to terrorize various women throughout the song.
