About this song
Co-produced by Eminem himself, the funky beat is very reminiscent of his Encore days in 2004. An early track list of the album showed a title called "Christopher Reeves" that was never released. On a later track, "Guilty Conscience 2," Eminem said he dropped the song after Reeve died shortly before Encore came out.
What it's about
The track revisits Eminem's long-running jokes about Christopher Reeve, the actor who played Superman and was left wheelchair-bound after a horse riding accident. It centers on a made-up dance named after Reeve, which mockingly describes deliberately injuring one's spinal cord, an irony given that the song would leave listeners unable to dance.
