About this song
Kuniva of D12 said in 2015 that the song's instrumental was originally meant for D12's debut album Devil's Night. Eminem later recalled making the beat in the studio with D12 member Bizarre, who intended to use it, but Bizarre abandoned it after pushback from the group, leaving it for Eminem to work with.
What it's about
Eminem figuratively cleans out his closet by addressing his absent father, his recently divorced ex-wife Kim, and his badly damaged relationship with his mother Debbie.
